Diane Cienki
has a life long love
of art and the creative process. Originally from New Jersey, Diane
also lived in the Midwest, and moved to California in 1987, where she
resides in Oceanside.
Her acrylic paintings are
often mixed with organic materials to add texture and dimension, such as
eggshells, pumice gel, and tree bark. She enjoys photography and also
creates painted photos.
Diane's focus is on
color, shape, lines and contrasts. She is inspired by nature and its
beauty.
"I hope that my work can
reflect the beauty and incredible creations that God has given us on this
earth."
Diane is a member of the
Sargent Art Group in San Diego and has studied with noted artist McNeil
Sargent.
She has shown her work at
the Oceanside library, Solana Beach library, Carlsbad Oceanside Art League
Gallery, St Tropez Bistro and Gallery Horton
Plaza, and St Tropez Bistro and Gallery Hillcrest. She also participated
in the "Starving Artist" Show at the Metaphor Cafe and at the "Orange
Celebrates Oceanside" art and craft fair.
