Wendy Hall

Wendy Hall has a passion for creating art.  She has been painting for several decades, inspired as a child by a household filled with both oils and watercolors done by her two grandmothers and mother.

After an education at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, she spent a year abroad at the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland and had the opportunity to visit all the most noted art museums on the Continent and U.K. to further her interest in art history.

As a resident of California since 1978, she has been continually thrilled with the beauty of the topography and variety of plants in this region.

She has taken classes with many great teachers, among them Denise McMurtrie, Alison Christler, Rikki Reinholz, Diane Adams, Lola Juris, France Marie Haeger and Cris Weatherby.

She has also taken silk painting classes with Susan Moyer, Ursula Schroter, and Olivia Batchelder in Laguna Beach

Her works have been exhibited at Encinitas City Hall, Solana Beach Library, Off-Track Gallery, Rikki Reinholz Gallery, and a solo exhibition of  her works at Rancho Bernardo Resort.
